Statement of faith

We believe...

1. Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach is the Son of God who died for the forgiveness of sins, was crucified, buried and rose on the third day. Who now sits at the right hand of God to intercede for us all. Jesus/Yeshua also sets the example of how we should live for God. By faith in him we become children of God.

2. Baptism of water by full immersion for repentance. Baptism is the death of our old life and the beginning of our new life in the body of christ. By being baptized we enter into the New Covenant.

3. Baptism of the Holy Spirit administered by God through prayer and the laying on of hands. The Holy Spirit is the power of God working through his chosen disciples to better his ministry through the working of spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit gives us direct access to God our Heavenly Father.

4. We as Christians/Messianics are under the new covenant which is written on our hearts and not on tablets of stone. When we become Christians/Messianics, God puts a new heart in us, so we can better follow his commandments, which outlined by the Ten Commandments. Our conscience accuses and/or defends us before God, who places different values on our hearts to bring us closer to him. We should not judge others, because each person stands or falls before God.

5. The church is Christ's/Messiah's physical representation on earth. The church is not a building, however, but it's the people that make up the church. Not one denomination is "the church" but every denomination is a different part of Christ's/Messiah's  body, as is each member of the different churches a different part of Christ's/Messiah's body.

6. Discipleship is the primary way to ensure that God's seed, which is planted in a new Christian/Messianic grows and matures into a disciple of Christ/Messiah. We as disciples should plant the seed of God into a new soul and then also continue to nurture and care for it so it grows into the perfect knowledge of God. Disciples are God's gardeners through Christ/Messiah by his Holy Spirit. Do not just add new members to your church(building) but to the family of God.

7.  The only source of doctrine that is valid is the Word of God, the Holy Bible, in its various forms and translations, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit into all truth.

8.  The only church authority is Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach, who is the head of the church, and works by us through the Holy Spirit. The offices of the church are there to guide the church and are servants of Christ/Messiah and the members. We believe in the original offices of the primitive church: Apostles, prophets, evangelists (missionaries), pastors, teachers, deacons, and elders, and the priesthood of all believers.
